The Patriots have won Super Bowl XLII but didn't cover the 11.5 spread, according to Madden Football 2008.
After simulating the entire game in the popular video game franchse, ESPN Videogames has concluded that the Patriots will defeat the Giants 38-30.
Tom Brady led the way with 277 passing yards, three touchdowns and just one interception. Randy Moss chipped in 75 receiver yards and one TD, and running back Laurence Maroney had 86 rushing yards and two TDs.
Giants QB Eli Manning didn't have a bad game either. He had 226 yards, one TD and one INT while running back Brandon Jacobs had 68 rushing yards and one TD.
Those who don't take Madden's results seriously should consider it's chosen the winner correctly the past four years in a row.
