\"The Vault\" Re-Opens With Moms I'd Like to Fight

Liz Posener fights Karen Oliver in the next episode of Bodog Fight: The Vault.
The wife of a world kickboxing champion, Liz Posener (1-1) was bitten by the mixed martial arts bug in 1998.
"I was looking for a way to get back into shape after giving birth to my daughter," says the 31-year-old mother of two. "I signed up for a three-day Team Quest mini camp and two months later I was fighting for real."
Although being married to a world champion will certainly increase your chances of success, Posener knows she still has a long way to go in the competitive world of women's MMA, which is currently ruled by Bodog Fight's own Tara LaRosa.
"One day I hope to be good enough to fight top female fighters like Amanda Buckner and Tara LaRosa, but they're in completely different league right now."
A 44-year-old native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Karen Oliver (1-0) may be a latecomer to the sport but showed that she belongs in her first fight, submitting her opponent in the first round of her MMA debut.
On Tuesday, Jan. 8 on Bodog Fight: The Vault, tune in and see Posener and Oliver clash in a never-before-seen women's bout filmed last year at a Bodog-sponsored Elite FC event in Vancouver, BC.
