Golf superstar Tiger Woods is the toughest athelete in sports, according to sportsillustrated.com.

In fact, he's tougher than UFC champion Anderson Silva, top-ranked heavyweight Russian fighter Fedor Emelianenko or even boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr.

So what makes Woods so tough?

Apparently, owning 64 PGA wins puts you at the top of the list. Granted, winning that many tournaments is impressive, but come on. It's a stretch to compare that with Silva, who spun Rich Franklin's nose around like the dial on a parking meter to win the UFC belt, or Fedor -who out-struck Mirko "Cro Cop" Filopovic, out-wrestled Mark Coleman and survived the biggest slam in mixed martial arts history at the hands of Kevin Randleman, and that's just skimming the surface.

And where is Randy Couture? Shouldn't you get some love for winning the UFC heavyweight belt when you're pushing 45 years old, and still beating opponents 20-years younger and 40-pounds heavier?

Apparently not.

Other athletes on the list include sled dog racer Lance Mackey, NFL player Bob Sanders and NHL tough guy Zdeno Chara.
