Tom Brady helped the Patriots tear through the record books by throwing for 50 touchdowns on their way to the first undefeated season since the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
The eight-year veteran collected all but one vote in the 2007 NFL MVP race on Saturday to claim his first trophy of his career.
The star QB finished the regular season with a 117.2 passer rating while completing 68.9 percent of his passes and totaling 4,806 yards with only eight interceptions.
While Brady has won three Super Bowl rings during is eight-year career, the 2007 NFL MVP is his first and with the exception of one vote going to Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre, it was nearly unanimous.
