Tyler Hansbrough Voted AP Men's College Player of the Year

As the leading scorer and rebounder on the Final Four bound North Carolina Tar Heels, Tyler Hansbrough received 56 out of 72 votes and was named AP Men's College Player of the Year.
Hansbrough was given the award Friday.
Hansbrough used his intense and physical style to average 22.8 points and 10.3 rebounds and a junior. Kansas State's freshman forward Michael Beasley received 15 votes while Memphis' junior guard Chris Douglas-Roberts received just one.
The Tar Heels play the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday at 8:47 p.m. ET on CBS. They are listed as 3.5-point favorites.
