Belfort is making his return to the octagon and sports an 18-8 career record. Belfort has been on the winning side in his last four matches and is a dangerous striker with some of the fastest hands in the sport.

Franklin is a former school teacher with a 25-4 career record. The former middleweight champion has only lost in his career to current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, current UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida, and former Pride middleweight and light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson.
