WEC Announces Full Fight Card for Filho vs. Sonnen 2

Team Quest fighter and Bodog Fight veteran Chael Sonnen (19-9-1) will get a second shot at undefeated Brazilian Paulo Filho (16-0-0) for the World Extreme Cagefighting middleweight belt.

Despite early rumors that Filho had pulled out of the event, WEC matchmakers confirmed the 185-pound re-match will headline WEC 33: Filho vs. Sonnen 2 on Wednesday, March 26 in Las Vegas.

The first match between Sonnen and Filho ended in controversy when, in the second round, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter caught Sonnen in a tight armlock. Although he screamed, after the referee stopped the fight, Sonnen said he had not tapped out.

The full card for the event has been released and also features a 205-pound championship fight, as WEC light heavyweight champion Doug "The Rhino" Marshall (7-2-0) faces U.S. Marine Brian "All American" Stann (5-0-0).
