Week 14 NFL Picks: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

The crushing loss left the Saints in last place in the NFC South, three games behind Carolina and Tampa Bay and two games behind the Atlanta Falcons, who they play this week.

Two interceptions in their own territory and a Bucs field goal later sent the Saints home with a 23-20 loss, which pretty much ended their playoff hopes. Drew Brees had an off day completing 25 of 47 passes for 296 yards with two TDs and three interceptions.

At least the Saints have been cashing in for backers, winning three of their last four against the spread and putting up an 8-4 ATS record overall. A lot of the Falcons’ success comes from how well they are protecting their rookie QB Matt Ryan. Against the Chargers, Ryan was hit just twice and the line did not allow a sack.
