Week 4 Picks: Atlanta at Carolina

After starting out 2-0, the Panthers had to figure getting Steve Smith back would translate into more scoring and a victory against the Vikings in Week 3. It never happened. Smith and Jake Delhomme were unable to find their rhythm and the Panthers only had 204 yards of offense in a 20-10 loss.
What is the best way to boost some offensive confidence and get the rust off? How about a schedule where five of your next seven games are at home, including matchups against Kansas City, Detroit, and Oakland.
This week the opponents are the Atlanta Falcons who are also 2-1 (2-1 ATS) thanks to wins over Detroit and Kansas City. Before you chalk up a win for the home team, keep an eye on Michael Turner. The Falcons RB rushed for 104 yards and had the first three-touchdown game of his career in Week 3. Turner is loving life as a lead back, totaling 366 yards and five touchdowns on the season.
Can the Panthers’ D, which is allowing an average of 113.0 rushing yards per game, slow down Turner and the underdog Falcons?
