Week 4 Picks: Green Bay at Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers, who are 2-1, will once again face a tough NFC North opponent this week, and they’re hoping it does not come down to overtime again. Backers are also hoping QB Brian Griese does not have to throw 67 passes (completing 38) to get the job done.

Griese threw three interceptions in the Bucs’ 27-24 overtime win over the Bears, but it will be the 10-point fourth-quarter deficit that was erased by passing nearly every play on two long scoring drives that will be remembered.

Winning is contagious, and the Buccaneers’ confidence should be bolstered as they get ready to host the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers need to regroup after losing to the Cowboys 27-16 on Sunday night and it is clear where they have to start.

Green Bay allowed a season-high 217 yards on the ground and a per-carry average of 6.2 yards. Tampa Bay is not exactly at the top of the NFL in rushing, but if the Packers don't plug some holes they could get run over again in Week 4.
