Week 6 NFL Odds & Betting Trends: Kansas City at Washington

The Redskins are bad. Luckily the Chiefs are worse. (AI Wire Images)"]
The Kansas City Chiefs came very close to winning on Sunday, falling to Dallas in overtime.
The good news if you back the Chiefs is they get the Washington Redskins as a followup.
NFL odds have the Redskins listed as 6.5-point favorites.
The Redskins are a hard team to figure out. They have had every opportunity to start the year 4-1 after losing to the Giants in Week 1. They went up against a winless team in each of their first five games. But three of those teams got their first win of the season, including the Detroit Lions who won their first game in 21 tries.
Now the Chiefs attempt to become the fourth, slowly improving every week under head coach Todd Haley's offense.
Haley is well versed with facing the Redskins. As an assistant coach under Bill Parcells with Dallas from 2004-06 Haley faced Washington six times as the two clubs split those meetings.
