Weigh In Results for Bodog Fight in Las Vegas

Nick "The Goat" Thompson and John Troyer will fight for the Bodog Fight welterweight title on Friday night in Las Vegas.
Each of the mixed martial arts fighters competing in Bodog Fight: Nick Thompson vs. John Troyer have made weight and are ready for their matches, Feb 1. at the Las Vegas Sport Centre.
In the main event, both Bodog Fight welterweight champion Nick "The Goat" Thompson and undefeated challenger John Troyer weighed 170-pounds exactly.
For Thompson, making the welterweight limit means strict dieting and dehydrating his body severely.
"When I’m not dieting, I’m up around 225," he says, "but that involves a lot of ice cream and things of that nature. When I’m on my diet, I’m about 200. Then it’s 20 pounds of diet and 10-pounds of water to cut."
Troyer, who also cuts from 200-pounds, says fans should be in for an exciting match when he and "The Goat" clash on Friday night.
"I think it should be a good one," he explains. "I think it should go all the rounds. It should be a nasty one. Bloody. Hopefully someone gets cut. Gagging, you know."
"He’s a well-rounded fighter with a lot of experience and a really tough guy," Troyer continues. "He has a little more experience than me but I’m not letting that stop me. I’m coming for him."
