Serious football fans will tell you that college football kicks ass over pro football. These kids play with more passion than most NFL athletes, and the atmosphere at any college football game can’t be beat. But here are 10 more reasons to start watching college football:

10. Get out of Saturday chores – “I’d love to do some yard work right now, but Ohio State and USC don’t play each other very often.”

9. You already watch the NFL – If you watch the NFL but not college football you’re missing out on a chance to double your weekly football intake.

8. College quarterbacks – Most college quarterback are gunslingers so if you like watching deep balls fly you’ll love the college game.

7. College running backs – Imagine all the best running backs in the NFL running against defenses that aren’t as good as in the NFL. That’s what it’s like watching a good college running back.

6. Bowl season – If you want to spend the holiday season and weeks leading up to it on your couch, you’re going to love bowl season. Just make sure you work that large dent out of the couch cushion before the Super Bowl.
