In a card stacked with mixed martial arts veterans, former Pride champion Takanori Gomi (27-3-0) is the -625 favorite to beat Duane "Bang" Ludwig (16-7-0). Gomi has not fought since February 2007, when he was badly beaten and choked by Nick Diaz (15-7-0). That loss was turned into a "no contest" by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after Diaz tested positive for marijuana.

Also on the card, Bodog Fight welterweight champion Nick "The Goat" Thompson (34-9-1) is the -350 favorite to defeat Brazilian Fabricio Monteiro (16-6-0), who is a +275 underdog.

Returning to the ring for the first time since losing to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (31-4-1) in December of 2006, Josh "The Babyface Assassin" Barnett ( 20-5-0) is a huge -800 favorite to beat Japanese judo fighter Hidehiko Yoshida (7-5-1).

Other favorites to win include Pride tournament champion Kazuo Misaki (18-8-2), judo champion Makato Takimoto (4-3-0) and heavyweight fighter Kazayuki Fujita (14-6-0).
