WSOP: Defending Champ Joe Hachem Slides

Australian Joe Hachem, the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, stands 22nd today as he tries to defend his title at the Rio in Las Vegas.

Hachem won a record $7.5 million last year, but is currently $2,600 behind leader Peter Hedlund as the Main Event winds down its preliminary round of competition.

Other notables in today's competition include Johnny Chan (seventh), Eric Haber (20th) and Chris Moneymaker (90th).
